The past few months have been very difficult times and we are looking forward to welcoming you all back to Runnymede Pre-school.
Pre-school re-opens for the start of our Autumn term on Wednesday the 9th of September.
We would like to give a warm welcome to all our new children and their families joining Runnymede Pre-school this term.
This term will be arranged with new restrictions in place following all the Local Authority and Government COVID-19 Guidelines.
There are temporary COVID policies and risk assessments in place. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to email or use your Tapestry for communication.
Please note that these routines and procedures may need to change as we continue to follow all the most recent guidance as we receive it.
We have new routines for the day to minimise the risks and to reduce the chance of spreading the virus.
We have had to split the children into 2 groups for this term.
Group A and Group B
Children going home at lunchtime are to be dropped off and remain in the small hall,
This group will be Group A.
All children who stay all day will need to dropped off at the usual doors at the rear of the building.
These children are group B (This still applies even if your child stays for any day as a full day but is going home at 12pm on that day)
Parents are no longer allowed to enter the building, children must be dropped off to the staff at the door. This isn’t how we would usually do things but for now this is the government guidance that must be followed.
You are welcome to call the setting at anytime to check on your child or to talk to your keyperson. You can also use your tapestry online journal for communication, this will be even more important during this time so that you keep in contact with your key-person.
Our phone number is 01268 799101
Your keyperson will send you regular photos of your child at play in the setting.
If you do need to come into the setting we can pre-arrange a time slot for you.
COVID UPDATES ; IF YOUR CHILD OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY HAVE SYPMTOMS OF COVID PLEASE FOLLOW ALL THE LATEST GUIDANCE, YOU MUST LET THE PRESCHOOL KNOW IMMEDIATELY .
