At Runnymede preschool, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our children. We have thorough procedures in place to ensure the safety and welfare of all our children and staff. All our children know that they are valued and that any concerns they have will be taken seriously and addressed by the adults who care for them. All staff members and committee receive appropriate child protection training which is regularly updated and in line with advice from the Essex Safeguarding Children Board (ESCB).

If you have any Safeguarding concerns, you can contact the DSL or DDSL on runnymede1@hotmail.co.uk  and mark the email FAO: DSL URGENT  or call the preschool on 01268 799101 between 8.30am and 3pm.

Outside of these ours please contact children's social care on 0345 603 7627. This phone line is open Monday to Thursday 8:45 am to 5pm, and Fridays 8:45am to 4:15pm. For out of hours or bank holidays, call the emergency duty team on 0345 606 1212.

If a child or young person is in immediate danger, call the Police on 999.
